VCT 2025 Team Predictions

After seeing the Plat Chat do their early VCT 2025 tier list, I’m curious to think what other people think about teams coming into the new season.

I agree with Team Heretics being a strong team, and with happy with FNATIC being an A tier team in the current VCT lineup. Vitality look strong on paper, especially with Derke moving from FNATIC, but it could be another NRG 2.0; also excited to see Apeks play, I heard talks of florescent joining them.

All I know is that this VCT season will be the most exciting season we’ve ever had 👀

Loading...Tbf derke showed his limit last year, having hard time / took too much time? To pick up the Yoru etc I think it was the right call to let him go That being said I haven’t watch VLR or ascension. And Home Ground was yikes so not sure what to expect of kajaak. But if we find back peek Leo I’m not worry for the team

Loading...@Milindodo Kaajak has been by far the best duelist in VRL but Home Ground got impossible as they couldnt practice more due to time and Sayonara having to play as an stand-in. Nothing more to say than this guy will prove his value on the Kick off for sure, where things start to count

Loading...@Milindodo Honestly, I thought the same, but when you look at the stats, he's a beast. The damage he dealt per round was insane, but since it didn’t always result in a kill, it didn’t feel like much

Loading...We may have lost Derke, but we still have some beasts on our roster, plus a rookie monster. I’m pretty confident, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up winning Champs at the end of the year

Loading...New duelist + Leo's comeback after almost a year... It's gonna be rough in the beginning. We need to qualify for the first Master and then we will see if we can pull our weight or need more time. Buy we can't miss internationals again (pls 🥲).

Loading...I think as far as what plat chat said I think they definitely were fair to put fnatic in A. It’s gonna be an adjustment period for the team with a new duelist and also working leo back with the squad so that’ll be interesting to see how the boys adapt to that, but honestly I’m not worried they’ve proven with hiro how quickly they can adapt to these sorts of things. But yeah heretics still look like a strong team, vitality I agree with the comments about how they might struggle if sayf is IGLing. But I’m really excited to see how it shakes out!

Loading...@nebukuro there’s probably multiple reasons why derke was removed that we don’t know, definitely one of them being financial reasons. i still believe in something to come from the 2025 fnatic roster, but i think the competition in emea has grown a lot more, so it will be difficult. boaster didnt look too good during the 2024 season, and even during the off season, even though he’s been critical on himself, i thought he would be looking a bit better.
