What Is Happening?!

Now this is my first year Im really getting into VCT [thanks to Fnatic] and I have to ask, is it usual to have this many huge and famous pros switching teams? We had Aspas leave Lev and join MIBR, we had Demon1 leave NRG for Lev, Derke left for VIT, Kajaak left his original team. And THE FIRST GC PRO EVER JOINED APEKS!!!!. Oh and Dont forget that Meteor left what was once considered the best team in the Pacific league, Gen G. Someone please tell me if every season id this chaotic because if it isn IM NEVER GOING TO STOP WATCHING VCT!!!

Loading...Yes, it's quite normal these days because there's generally less money in esports. As a result, contracts are shorter to avoid potentially having to pay someone sitting on the bench for five years, or to have the flexibility to sign a better player. Since the contract is short, you need to commit less money upfront. That's why you often see us renewing players at Fnatic, as contracts are now limited to 2-3 years max.

Loading...It’s not unusual for big names to swap. I could be wrong but a lot of the time teams can’t keep them forever as they cost more so that will be why you see them move around sometimes. That and honestly they are good enough to move around so why not have fun playing with lots of teams! This might be the first time so many have moved in one go though
