Absolutely Terrible

Wow. I don’t even know what to say to this. I truly hope this is just kickoff weakness and we can improve throughout the season because losing 6 maps in a row and throwing 3 OT games plus 2 series points to get us to Santiago is heartbreaking. The boys are in their heads all game and just getting shut out by early aggression and lurks that somehow get 3 of us.

One of the few high points was Veqaj is looking pretty good and seems to mesh super well with the playstyle but Kajaak is really off his game recently. Something needs to change if we want to secure another masters trophy.

Sorry for rant.

Good luck boys keep the mental up we will win Shanghai

Loading...Is this Fnatic Finals curse unbreakable?! Come on please we need to win these finals. It’s just so heartbreaking to see us winning and destroying every team face us but then when we are in the Finals we are cooked and washed!!

Loading...Yes, we played badly, yes, we made mistake after mistake (many unacceptable ones), yes, we failed to adapt, BUT the format was garbage, and yes, we're not the only victims, but the BO against M8 probably mentally boomed us, so let's be understanding. After what they did to us last year, let's hope that with time they can learn and improve the game. Let's not forget the goal is to win Champs, the rest matters little in the end.

Loading...@Franky They could have just made a normal format like the old kickoff but with top 3 going go Santiago

Loading...Losing Kickoff as always... I hope they'll work hard and win Stage 1 (and a Master). The match against M8 destroyed their mental health....

Loading...Well, we seem to not be aware of the possibilty of the opponent to be aggressive players, and we're making some really big mistakes like not checking corners. But imo, the biggest issue seems to be the mental, lot of team i saw seem to always think its doable no matter how they're down, they always are focus in game and all, but us, we seem to be off the game too easily, from what I saw between round we seem to tilt easily and to lose the hunger to win after few round lost. For a pro team that aim for the top of the top, our mental seems really weak. That would explain why we lost so many 5v2/4v2, if our mental is off the game, that could impact our teamplay and comms, which seem to be what made us make mistake. Anyways thats my opinion, but I just hope they take the time of Masters to look into that and work on the differents issues, cause this seem to be an issue already since last year

Loading...@DTR Let's be reasonable, the mental was certainly an issue today, but you can't say this team is a team that gives up. Proof: Lock/In, Champs of last year on Abyss, the BO against M8 where we were behind on every map. No, we were outclassed by the aggro meta, and we didn’t have a suitable or sufficiently practiced response, the format doesn’t allow you to change your gameplay given the time between the start and the end, you're not going to reinvent yourself in two weeks (or even 10 hours (for this week)). In such short formats, it's a coinflip on the meta, we lost, but we could have won yesterday. We didn't, that's our fault. Let's accept it and hope they come back stronger and ready to prove they're the best.
