A fan idea for Fnatic's 2027 rebuild
First of all, I want to make something very clear: this is not meant as criticism or disrespect towards any of our current players.
Every player who has represented Fnatic this year — Soboro, Razork, Vladi, Upset, Lospa and everyone involved with the team — deserves appreciation for their work, talent and effort during what has clearly been a difficult season.
Some of them may absolutely deserve to remain part of the 2027 project.
In particular, I still believe players such as Upset and Vladi have a lot to offer Fnatic, especially if they are surrounded by a more stable structure.
And if the reports about Razork potentially leaving Fnatic eventually become reality, I think it would be important to recognise just how significant that departure would be.
Razork has been an exceptional player for Fnatic over the last few years and, through many different rosters and difficult periods, has consistently shown his individual quality and commitment to the team.
If his time with Fnatic really comes to an end, he deserves nothing but gratitude and respect from the community. Replacing a player of his quality would not be easy.
With that said, this is simply a fan exercise based on the kind of roster and philosophy I would love to see Fnatic explore during the 2027 rebuild.
Option A — a new mid-jungle core
TOP — BrokenBlade
JUNGLE — Yike
MID — Kyeahoo
ADC — Upset
SUPPORT — Trymbi
The idea behind this roster isn't simply collecting five individually strong players.
BrokenBlade and Yike already have experience playing together.
Yike and Kyeahoo already developed jungle-mid synergy at Karmine Corp.
Upset would remain as an elite late-game carry while also providing some continuity from the current Fnatic roster.
Trymbi would bring communication, roaming, experience and another strong voice to help organise the map.
The result could be an experienced top side, an aggressive jungle-mid core and a reliable bot-lane win condition.
Option B — trust in Vladi
However, I also think Fnatic should seriously consider keeping Vladi rather than assuming that every position needs to change.
TOP — BrokenBlade
JUNGLE — Yike
MID — Vladi
ADC — Upset
SUPPORT — Trymbi
Vladi is still young and clearly talented.
We have already seen what he can do when he is confident and playing within a functioning system.
Instead of judging him solely on a difficult 2026 season, I would genuinely like to see what he could become surrounded by experienced players such as BrokenBlade and Trymbi, an aggressive jungler like Yike, and a reliable carry like Upset.
Maybe the answer isn't replacing everyone.
Maybe the answer is giving some of our current players a better environment in which to succeed.
More important than the names: build a team
The most important thing for me isn't necessarily these exact five names.
It's the philosophy behind them.
For several years, Fnatic has changed players repeatedly without being able to build the kind of long-term synergy and stability that some of Europe's strongest teams have developed.
For 2027, I hope Fnatic builds a team, not simply a collection of individually talented players.
Give the roster an identity.
Give them time.
Give the coaching staff and players a structure they can believe in.
And please don't interpret roster changes as meaning that the players leaving were failures.
Sometimes talented players simply need different environments, and every player who wears the black and orange deserves respect for representing Fnatic.
That especially applies to someone like Razork if his departure eventually becomes official. Whatever happens next, his contribution to Fnatic over these years shouldn't be forgotten.
I became a Fnatic fan because this was an organisation that wasn't afraid of anyone in Europe — or internationally.
I'd love to see that Fnatic again.
