Question about LEC tickets randomly getting refunded (Happy ending)

UPDATE: LEC is still awesome, it was a bug causing this and I received new tickets. 🥳

I have to admit, I am really annoyed by this.

The day the LEC tickets became available I instantly bought 2 for each day of week 3 to visit the LEC with a friend for the first time since 2019.

While being insanely hyped up, I planned out the trip, ordering tickets for travelling by train and booking a hotel. Also I had to take two days off to be able to watch the monday as well. All in all still a great deal for me because I am dieing to see LEC live again.

Yesterday - out of the blue - I received a mail from eventbride stating that I will receive the refunds for the two saturday tickets soon. They just canceled them. (Insert Caedrel meme here)

Of course it is well within Riot Games' rights to do so, but I think it is outrageous to do so without any kind of explanation, message or at least a little sorry.

Even though I will be there for 2 days at least now, my hype tanked a lot.

Since travelling to Berlin comes along with costs and further efforts, I might shy away from ordering tickets for LEC in the future since there now is a real threat they might get canceled any minute.

Why am I writing this post in the Fnatic community boards? I just wanted to ask you guys if you had similar experiences with LEC before and how it played out.

Have been there countless times from 2015-2019 and despite our playoffs match against H2K getting canceled due to audio issues (which we were compensated for) I never had any issues. Thats why I am still a little shocked.
