Do you think that riot should focus on reworking older champions (visual/full) or do you want new champs?

@Steffie.94• 08/05/2023Loading...I think they should do it 50:50 🙂 Like sometimes we get a new one and after that, they rework an old one 👍 But of course, there are not always reworks needed, so maybe they have to stop that one day 😅 I very love it, that they change old things and try to do it more contemporary like the artworke of some Champs 😊

Loading...@Davissam I was Ezreal main (almost one trick) and when they reworked his spells I just can't play him anymore. I did learn other champs yes, but my favourite one is out of equation now

Loading...@Davissam I probably worded this wrong but what I meant is less about workload and more about community reaction. I think there is more pressure on people when they change something that was a part of game for long time (and that's mostly about spells and stuff) because players can be really crappy when their main is being changed and they can try to bring people down for it, whereas when a new champ is released people didn't get to play them very much so there wouldn't be as much backlash when they rework them
I'm sorry if it still doesn't make much sense, weather in my place makes my brain hurt

Loading...I think creating a new champ is easier than reworking an existing one because there isn't much expectations about how the champ should look or play like and as for existing ones people have gotten used to how a champ plays or looks and if Riot changes something drastically there's gonna be massive backlash. Of course there are exceptions (like Seraphine for example) but generally I can understand if they keep releasing new champs constantly.
However, there are too many too fast so maybe they could work on some of older ones because tbh some are so broken that a nerf or buff isn't enough.
(I won't forgive them what they did to my bois Varus and Ezreal tho)

@Franky• 08/05/2023Loading...They are starting to work on it, but I think that reworking an existing champion can be even harder than creating a new one, because the reworked champion already has an established universe, which limits creativity and requires staying true to the original character.

@Secare• 08/05/2023Loading...Think that's what they are looking to do. The new champ releases have definitely slowed down that what it was before and the reworks or vgu they have done so far has been good!
