Why Elmapuddy?

I just wonder why the team management felt he was the best person for this job, considering his mediocre record throughout his coaching career .

The team looks sloppy, with taking 1v1s, sloppy util usage and other things reminiscent of the former team he coached (GenG).

It’s just sad to see the best team of all time being assigned to someone who clearly cant handle the responsibility.

Loading...@w_isha We don't even know that maybe we just had a bad meta ready or maybe we always had to flaw but other where just to bad. We can make all the assumption in the world but I trust the team who put those players together to choose a good coach fit for it.

Loading...It's completely stupid to look at the player/coach's past results and draw conclusions from them. If we go by that principle, Leo, who never won anything before joining Fnatic, would be considered a bad player. Poor performances are not necessarily linked only to the coach, especially since Mini is still there, so the problem is probably deeper than just "coach bad".

Loading...@Franky Of course you can look at a coachs past results and how his team played to draw conclusions on him. Or based on what do you judge a coach? It's a coach's responsibility to make a team perform. A player doesn't have as much control on the other players as the coach that why you judge a player based on his individual performance and not only the team result especially if he isn't the igl. So to use Leo as an argument is just stupid because he always had good performances and that is why people were hyped for him. That's also why N4RRATE got picked up even though his team didn't even qualify for challenger.

Loading...I agree, his mediocre coaching approach has always garnered mediocre results. Yet he’s handed a world class roster and has managed to make them look unrecognizable. I know it’s not entirely on his shoulders but given that he is the only change that’s happened, I can’t help but feel a little concerned. The disarray is worse than previous iterations of the team which might be a telltale sign that they have the wrong person at the reins.
