Why we didnt got any Award always second place except from coaching, I think we deserved some more at this point for what weve done. What do you think?

@cleanval• 01/08/2024Loading...Looking at this from a non biased standpoint - Arguably Team Heretics deserved to win most of the awards, they have been insane. I think if VCT EMEA hated FNATIC then they wouldn’t have even got second. The awards don’t really mean much in the grand scheme but I’m not going to deny that Team Heretics deserved some of those awards.
FNATIC have done incredibly well, especially this stage, and especially Hiro fitting in. I’m so proud of all the boys and runner up was 100% deserved. Wishing the best for the boys in Seoul and can’t wait to see how they perform!

Because they're all best in the world status, it's much harder for them to get the recognition they deserve. At the end of the day though, MVPs don't matter, what matters is all the trophies in our cabinet.

@Franky• 01/08/2024Loading...@Babs Ok, I went to check, and I think he's talking about the VCT EMEA awards, similar to LoL with the Team of the Split and MVP, etc.
And to answer Catxcalo, no, the VCT EMEA doesn't hate us. On the contrary, I believe we are probably one of their favorite teams in terms of viewership, performance, fans, and team atmosphere in general. Getting the best sentinel title from VCT EMEA brings nothing, it's a consolation prize we can leave to others, especially since we probably swept everything last year and if you look the vote we are almost always second in the votes anyway.
Thinking we're not appreciated just because of that is weird, not gonna lie.
Especially if you think for a second, you have Yinsu on the staff, Pansy who is called by the entire community Fnatic bias (she followed us on CS and Valorant and cast some of our crazy plays, like the CS defuse in the molly and Valorant LOCK IN, for example).
And tbf just look at the rest of the crew and what they say about us in general to see it's not true.
Plus, our year hasn't been perfect...
Sayf was incredible in his role swap, TH was one of the best almost EMEA team all the year and KC had a good start. We shouldn't erase everything out of pure fanboyism, especially since we are the winners of what really matter at the end.
