How come we always find out about CS and R6 matches so late? Feels like one day I wake up and all of a sudden a Rainbow match is live or Fnatic just won a map in a CS game

Loading...The last couple of games of CS were online qualifiers for Dallas. Those matches were not on HLTV.
The tournament where fnatic is now competing in is CCT. Those matches are on HLTV and can be followed there.

@Franky• 09/02/2025Loading...It's simply because, unlike games like League or Valo, there's no league system.
You register for a tournament, and sometimes it's last-minute. Some are open qualifiers with many teams and we might only start following from the tournament to 1/16, for example, so the tournament has already begun, and we catch it on the fly. That's why you often get a game notification just as it's starting, because the matches happen in quick succession.
Rainbow Six has a league, but there are many tournaments during the offseason following the same principle
