Fnatic CS2 Academy

With all top teams trying to open academy (Vitality, Faze, ...) to develop new prospects, do you remember guys why we closed our academy ?

In my opinion academies are the future of cs 2 and we should open it asap. However I think we need to have an established team in T1 in the first place.

Boys are doing well with 3 grand finals secured including a victory but the vrs grind is quite slow...

If we keep up this pace, I believe we'll going to secure a top 16 placement before the end of the year which would allow us to attend all tier 1 events. And at this moment I think we should be creating a new academy.

What do you think guys ?

Loading...With such braindead management like Fnatic’s, they’ll never have a proper academy team. These idiots have absolutely no clue what it’s actually for — last time, their academy felt like it existed just for show, with no real purpose behind it. It was only there because every other team had one too. They simply don’t understand what an academy team is supposed to do.

Loading...It would be amazing to have one, but were not at a high enough level to warrant one. It was a shame the original academy was shuddered and it would definitely have helped in the last few years, but for now we gotta qualify for big tournaments before even thinking about another academy.

Loading...@virtaball Yeah felt bad when we disbanded fnc rising Right now is too early to open but hope we get back on top in late 2025 and we open an academy in 2016 Fingers crossed

Loading...Aside the money perspective, I prefer that fnatic is focussing on their main roster alone rather than shifting their focus on 2 teams.

Loading...@Lars89 I prefer it too but having an academy can help to have a main team having better results For the focus point, I think People in charge of both sections wouldnt be the same so it should not be a problem

Loading...If the team reaches tier 1, then they would need some money for the academy. Kinda hard because I read that a LoL academy would be needed by the coach :)

Loading...@Odd I think we need 3 academies (cs2, lol and valorant). But yeah money could be a problem and fnatic financial ressources are not very clear. Maybe if we manage to get good results at ewc we'll get funds to develop sections. But im not sure it will be enough for academy tho... But I hope they are opening it in 2026...
