Loading...The fnatic vs 9ine game just ended moments ago.... I know that no one is satisfied with our current standings and placements. We're not even making it through closed qualifiers (much less the main events), we are likely going to miss the major save for a miracle, and we do not seem to be on any upwards trajectory of any sort. I am not trying to be toxic, I am not calling out anyone in particular, I am simply stating the facts as I see them. Are we going to keep changing 1 player out at a time ad infinitum and hope that one of these days something finally clicks? What is the low point where we cut losses with this core and rebuild? Is it a problem with the coaching? I want to know what the expectations are with this roster, how management and coaching views our trajectory, and what is the floor that we are willing to accept before serious changes need to be made. Also, it makes me a little upset that LoL gets an entire town hall to themselves, while the CS fans are relegated to a catch-all for everything else related to fnatic. It feels disrespectful to the fans who watch every match, buy the jerseys, and are supporting every chance we get. I hope that this doesn't come off as too bitter but I'm truly disappointed with these results and the complete lack of transparency or any sort of passion (from an outside POV) towards this CS roster. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Loading...This question is for RossR about CS and his role in other Fnatic titles: Hello RossR. Fans who follow Counter-Strike know that you were previously the coach and even the manager of Endpoint, and you were instrumental in discovering players like Spinx, flameZ, and mezii, who now become star players in the CS scene. Because of that, many of us really still trust your work of talent scout. However, during your time leading Fnatic's CS project, while there have been some promising and strong signings, like matys and blameF. the team has struggled to consistently maintain a Top 15 level of competitiveness. Have you ever considered taking a step back and, under the Fnatic banner, establishing a Fnatic academy CS team to better scout and develop young talents? Additionally, as far as I know, you’ve also been involved in decision making for other titles within the organization. Given that most of your background is in Counter-Strike, how has your CS experience helped you contribute to those teams in other titles like apex and val etc? My question might be a bit abrupt, so I hope it doesn’t come across as offensive. I’m still a big fan of you, Ross. much love)

Loading...My second question is about CS and it's for cArn: Since Fnatic signed fEAR and jambo last year and brought in jackasmo on loan, along with various rumors circulating within the scene, it seems that Fnatic is now placing a strong focus on young CS talents from the CIS region. But as an organization that transitioned to an international roster back in 2021, why hasn’t Fnatic looked more closely at young talent from other regions? And specifically for cArn: as a legendary CS 1.6 player and a CS:GO Major-winning coach, I believe you still carry significant reputation within the Swedish CS scene. Recently there have been quite a few promising young Swedish players—for example poiii, the former Alliance player who was signed by 100 Thieves, MaiL09 from Alliance, and even bobeksde from EYEBALLERS, the organization founded by former Fnatic CS legend JW. So my question is: have cArn or Fnatic as an organization been paying attention to these kinds of players outside the CIS region as well?

Loading...My first question is about CS and it's for cArn: We all know that in Counter-Strike, aside from Major qualification and sticker revenue sharing, EWC in recent years has also caught the attention of many organizations. I believe Fnatic is aiming to achieve good results in the EWC Club Championship in order to secure a share of the EWC prize pool, and the performance of the CS team is a very important component of the overall points standings. Right now, Fnatic’s CS roster doesn’t have enough VRS points to easily secure invitations. So my question to cArn is: what plans does Fnatic have for the CS event at EWC?

Loading...For CS: - For the past few years we've seen our top players leaving, a shift in the objectives and irregularities in performances. As the team floats in the T2 despite all the changes, is there any clear path to get back to the top. - Concerning the irregularities, how do you address those? What looks like a successful bootcamp/tournament? - Will we ever see additional resources for the staff? Are there people in the shadows assisting Independent? If so, to what capacity? Do you consider adding extra coaches unnecessary? - Can you give us a roadmap of reasonable expectations for this year? For Valo: - It seems since the end of last year the meta has shifted from slower pace, strategic setups to just pure aim and rush sites. The former being what defined Fnatic's success, do you feel that the team can adapt to this new style? - Fnatic Valorant has been blessed with legendary players who've gradually left the org. How far do you plan ahead for those eventualities? Do you ever think of a Fnatic post-Boaster? - Cojo, it feels that you follow very closely what the other Fnatic teams do and are aware of their performances. Seeing that you have the most successful team out of the org, what things do you feel you do differently/better that allows you constant results?

Loading...Can you give us an honest appraisal of the CS roster as currently constructed and tell us why we should have any faith in you to right this ship when nearly every decision in the last years have proven us that you cant.
