Will the csgo org ever be reviewed?

Will the csgo org ever be reviewed?

Trying to work out how to say this diplomatically...

But why is it that systematic failure in our org never seems to be fixed or rectified? Is it a contract business decision with our managers etc?

We have people like dardo (lol) and samuelson, who arrived in decision making positions and have driven their relevant orgs performance way down.

Csgo has plummeted to an awful position, and we've had 15 roster changes in that time (3 years), some that were quite simply never going to work. Selling brollan for big money and then getting tier 2/3 players to replace. The igl decision which bemused everyone and then shockingly turned out was the wrong one again. Which was eventually admitted with Dexter's appointment.

At some point surely carn has to step in as clearly the decision makers can't be trusted.

Were a sports org essentially, performance matters, not effort. It's been 3 years since we were even mildly good, surely we can't as an org be happy with that?

Surely at some point we have to stop looking at players and look at who keeps bringing those players in

Loading...Hard to accept that but u will not get anything more than just words , Samuelson or Sam or Carn speaking now for 3 years straight that it gets anyhow better . But you can see from the results and from the roster changes we dont really care . In the end we need to make money and spending big is not in our pocket. Just move on from Fnatic CS its pretty much a done deal, this org will never compete that much as they did. I accept it and i follow orgs like Mouz who doing an insanely good Scouting.

Loading...Hi Dean! Thanks for sharing your views. Will keep it quite short: All our titles are being constantly reviewed and calibrated to drive better performance. The last two years we have quadrupled the central esports function, which previously had only myself sitting centrally working across all titles, to now 4 members, covering roster/title strategy, performance, and operations. Whereas our titles are set-up to work autonomously during the competitive seasons, things like player and roster decisions are by no means a one person's job — so all decisions you refer to are as much mine and the Central team's, as the team-specific members. Easier said than done, but we are not settling for the current performance of any of our teams, and very much CS2 where we are not on track versus our goals. It's too early, and the wrong forum, to share anything specific for the time being, but we're committed as an organization to take Fnatic CS back to the top, and stay there, and I'm personally extremely excited about the new title, and equally for the ecosystem to open up in 2025. Thanks for your support!

Loading...@cArn Hi cArn, thanks for the reply. I respect what you're trying to say, but I doubt you're spending your time scouting players with all the responsibility you currently sit with, plus does your team realistically have that skillset? I imagine you're given sign off by the same people who've been picking players before via business cases and profiles. You can't trust the management of our sub divisions after so many mistakes, especially if you're looking at performance and strategy. We've changed 15 players and not coaching, Not team management? I'm trying to not be over critical and "doomer", but dammmn Maybe it's time for me to just skip csgo Anyway, thanks for your time and I hope all your family is doing well!

Loading...@cArn All teams are taken advantage of a season with no major and making roster changes trying to build the best possible team. Why do we keep waiting a waiting god knows why to make ourselves a change? Its clear this team isnt functioning (i wont point fingers) but something is missing within this team for so long. Too many different rosters, same outcome. We just lost to NIP with 2 stand ins and we are losing vs C9 with changes too while we are a "stable" roster . Our team performance is far from good and the fanbase is kind of tired of losing and getting the same answer (we are reviewing our processes and we want to get back to the top). We only want to know if something is about to change here or we will just miss out another market opportunity and stay irrelevant for another season.

Loading...@cArn Hi cArn, when is the time to consider changes, there loads of players currently on the market, I.e. Brollan etc. And with the current trajectory we won’t make it to the major I think. And when do you consider changes to the management. I remember Samuelson saying that he took the responsibility for taking Smooya, but in the end nothing happened when that didn’t work out.. Thank you for the response. Lars89

Loading...@cArn I actually do appreciate this response cArn so much I am just gonna say one thing right now. Swedish cs has never had more potential to make a comeback right now and if you sign hampus and brollan with maybe some young talent from gods young lineup or main roster maybe even nawk from apeks and let them grow as a team for 2025 or end of 2024 we are talking majors for days.
