Fnatic needs to start taking responsibility!

Fnatic hasn't won a title in 6 years. MAD has won 3 and even Rogue won 1 split. And every time when we lose, we only get to hear empty phrases like "much to improve on" and "we tried our best next split" etc. No accountability for showing a performance unworthy of a team of fnatic caliber. This is why this team will stay mediocre forever. G2 changed players after winning, while players stay on fnatic as long as we make worlds...

Loading...I'm sorry, but your argument is absurd. G2 didn't make it out of groups, losing to NA, and yet didn't change players, so even your argument for a change doesn't hold up, especially since it's the Winter split. At some point, we need to stop with the "we lost a BO, so we're bad" mentality. Fnatic Valorant was clearly one of the best teams in the world last year, but we lost at Worlds, so are we bad, and should we change players? The team is clearly showing positive signs and yes we can see some flaws. We can talk about changes when these flaws haven't been addressed over a longer period, but this is only 5 weeks of competition; it's normal that everything isn't fixed overnight. The format has changed, so we need to take that into account in our critiques.

Loading...@Franky G2 won against 2 eastern teams fnatic didn't. Fnatic showed terrible fundamentals that why people are saying they are bad not because they lost a single BO. I already debunked your idiotic fnatic valorant argument. Fnatic kept 4 players from last and they only regressed from last split this isn't just an isolated split. If you keep 4 players you should lost the basic macro. Fnatic has been underperforming for years now which clearly indicates the management isn't up to par.

Loading...To be fair I don’t really get the point of asking for roster changes in this situation, we made 6 of them last year finally coming onto this roster which imo is the only one since 2020 that has the potential to win a title. Arguments for this being all vitality superteams going to absolute shitshow and every game this season we were ahead in mostly every lane in every game (excluding stomps which happens once or twice a split), more so I’d hope for amplifying coaching stuff, mostly positional coaches for Oscar and Noah/jun even though bot has stepped up immensely in playoffs. As we were ahead in every game with razork being by far the best jungler in the league and humanoid being the lane king of the year we need more control in mid to late game fights and vision/flank tracking and addressing. I’m mdk vs fnc game 1 in fact we had tracked akali flanking every single time and even if we did she still managed to get 1-2 carry killed per fight which is mind blowing to me. G2 made changes to compete internationally indeed, but what makes g2 the team which could get 1st with any roster is the big structure of coaches and analysts they have built through years. So if we need to polish macro and team fights we can hope for coaching staff expansion rather than swapping players brainlessly.

Loading...Ofc experience doesn't mean good mechanics that why herectics failed but a experienced should not have this terrible macro its just unacceptable. Especially when they had good macro last year and then they decided to change the supp who performed well and was shotcalling a lot to a rookie who doesn't talk much. We were top 2 last split we made no progress and only regressed and then you have the ceo saying he is proud of the development.

Loading...@nebukuro Well said, and I would even go further to say that we should bench the players from Fnatic Valorant who achieved top 1 at the major and then top 4 at Worlds; we need to change the players because clearly they have regressed. And as for LoL, there obviously hasn't been a complete overhaul of the game between last year and this year, so ofc with last year's roster, we would have also achieved a top 2 finish this year, clearly.

Loading...@nebukuro We couldve easily made finals at this split, game 5 was a borderline throw againts MAD. If you watched the games this winter you would know that we had decent macro which is collapsed by the end undeniably. And we finished 3rd summer not 2nd, (that was the season finals) so this "regression" argument doesnt hold up

Loading...Pls just get Adam oder Irellevant or at least someone who takes the job as a shotcaller. Through the whole split they just followed really bad calls that lost them their games. Thats the only way they could eventually contest the title as the best Team of Europe.Remember 2018 Fnc

Loading...This roster is not capable of great things, we are absolutely a mediocre team: - Oscar is not a good toplaner, he is always out of position, most of the time get soloed in lane and loses half of his hp out of the fight. Even his ksante is not scary. - Razork is a coinflip, and most of time he struggle, it looks like he never own game plan and he is not able to apply pressure to lane. In teamfight never reach enemy backline. - Jun: is he able to land a single skillshot? - Coaching Staff: Do we have a coach? Comps sucks, in team fight we always focus multiple targets with the result of enemies not dieing, and we never ever an efficient frontline to protect our carries. Nothing to say to Humanoid and Noah, that are what keep the team alive, and even when underperforming are making 2 vs 8. We cannot win even against rookies, and we are not competitive, immagine at worlds... Dear Management, we deserve better, and is time to fire people, cause team is not working.

Loading...@Donnie Brother, it's time to start watching the matches with your eyes wide open, you know. Saying that Razork struggles when he was one of our best players, saying that Jun doesn't hit his skillshots, it's a level of disillusionment rarely seen. As for Oscar, yeah, he didn't have incredible playoffs, but he was often put in matchups he was supposed to lose (not all of them, of course), so yeah, he hasn't been the best but having a bad split and saying he should be benched is too much. And as for the coaching staff, I think it's not sufficient, but saying our drafts are garbage just because you don't like them is ridiculous. If we had listened to people like you, we would have kicked out Razork even though he's undoubtedly one of our best players last year, but hey, we lost a super close BO5 so we're trash, right?

Loading...We showed some good performances tho. And they are right when they say “much to improve on”. This roster is capable of making those improvements. MAD is a strong team losing to them is no shame. If we didn’t get g2 in upper bracket we would probably be in finals.

Loading...@RyZuWest MAD is a team with 4 rookies with no LEC experience while fnatic has to LEC veterans. We had bad macros in basically all the games. So it is absolutely shameful to lose against mad like this.
