Why are we so hateful?

One series where we haven't played well and we're about to fire half the team and the entire management again. We cheer while we can, right? For some reason we're not first but that can change. We can still go to MSI. Once FNATIC Always FNATIC 🧡🖤

Loading...If I look at myself I’m not really hateful but disappointed. Been a Fnatic Fan since WC3. Seen the league team rise and fall. But since 2018 it’s just a disaster. I don’t have a glimpse of hope for the league team. Don’t get me wrong tho, I love the current roster. But i don’t see them winning anything if they can’t fix the inconsistent performance. The fact that so many of our ex-players and coaches always seem to point fingers, to the same issues within the League Team for years now, feels like we have problems that are deep beneath of what we get to see. I hope if this year doesn’t work out we get rid of dardo for example. If the team can’t win trophies no matter the coaches or players you gotta change things in the management. Idc about him personally but if I am not bringing any positive results to my workplace for this long I’d be looking for a new job already. I’ll always be a fnatic fan since I love this org since forever and no matter if we win or lose but it would feel good to win smthg again. #AlwaysFnatic 🧡🖤

Loading...@Ascrobin This. This exact same thing can be said for the CS department of fnatic. No notably trophies in the last 4 years, but the coach and staff are still in charge.

Loading...We have a lot of fans for Fnatic, some new and some already for a very long time. It has been a while since we have been successful and actually won a split. Fans want to see the team succeed again and be the best of Europe. Fans will always get upset (after losing) and that's completely normal. It is sad to see them lose so badly against G2 when a lot of fans (including myself) had the idea we could actually match ourselves with G2 and had a decent chance to maybe even win. When you lose hard when you believe you can win, it also hurts more I guess... I got disappointed, but as a Fnatic fan you keep cheering for them and hope they learn and come back better! I have every hope they are able to do it! Once Fnatic #AlwaysFnatic

Loading...Because we have very passionate fans. Of course people are going to be upset when their favourite team gets two-zeroed. I do agree that the negativity sometimes become too much, especially when people call for the replacements of some players they praise when we win. I still believe we have a shot at MSI. #alwaysfnatic 🧡🖤

Loading...The main answer is this: It's not just one bad series. The side of the community that is most negative has been around for a while, at least I am. And during the last couple of years, these this group has had nothing to Cheers about, nothing to reset that negative mental spiral. Just disappointment after disappointment. I guarantee you if we had won last split for example, or even lec finals last year, the negativity wouldnt be this bad. That is also the reason Management gets brought up so much, teams change year over year, so the "mental reset" does happen a little bit, but not enough to wash away the disappointment of the previous years. Management is constant. The reason it feels worse now is that we dont have the Valorant wins to balance out the disappointments from lol or cs teams. Winning something.... anything, would help alleviate a lot of the negativity, but the reality right now is just that winning anything right now feels like miles away. And people will want to vent that frustration.

Loading...@Masterrein Like yes, but I guess they should have called for the firings after the horribly bad 2022 superteam... If that team had worked it would have been one of the best rosters Europe has ever had. Now it's just boiling down to finances running out and Fnatic aren't exactly on a budget on the other hand they have a successful strategy and a sustainable finance structure so things should improve. Sporting success will come because the situation at least in LoL is volatile and the teams at the top have been changing a lot in the last few years. If we had the finances to buy a "better" botlane, mid, jgl, toplane and coaching staff we probably would. The only year I wasn't 100% a fan of FNC was the year with Nisqy because I brutally hate him sns. But hating the players I root for every week I really can't...
