@Franky• 22/11/2024Loading...Even though it’s obviously exaggerated, the fact remains that you’re at least somewhat serious about it, and I find that crazy. It’s an offseason tournament with zero impact on the real competition, featuring two new players who have never competed at this level, in their first match, with a new assistant coach and a new dynamic. I’m not going to get worked up over a loss, especially considering it’s not like we did nothing, we started 10-3, let’s not forget that. Sure, we choked on defense, but that’s the point of this kind of tournament: to try things out and identify problems. Better to do it now. Last year, we won the tournament but didn’t do anything else all year internationally. I’d rather lose this meaningless tournament, identify issues, and give our new duelist some experience than add unnecessary pressure on the newcomers for something like this
