Welcoming our new Rainbow Six Siege Fnatic team!
Europe looks better in Black and Orange.
Welcoming our new R6 Fnatic team - LeonGids, Deapek, Jeggz, Jigsaw, Tyrant and Saethus.
Fnatic is excited to announce our return to Rainbow Six Siege and our entry into the Europe League. Fnatic first entered the title in 2018 with our APAC team led by Etienne "Mag" Rousseau and team director Jayden “Dizzle” Saunders. Japan and APAC continues to be an important region for Fnatic, as seen with our incredible Apex Legends roster, but when a spot opened in Europe League, it provided an opportunity to bring Rainbow Six ‘closer to home’. Our passion for Rainbow Six Siege has never waivered and a relocation to the EU region offers Fnatic greater competitive prospects within the title.
The ‘closer to home’ approach extends to our new roster with Leon “LeonGids” Giddens and Luke “Tyrant” Casey representing the UK. Jesse “Jeggz” Ojanen (Finland), Jack “Jigsaw” Gillies (Australia) and Tom “Deapek” Pieksma (Netherlands) complete this highly competitive roster. Leading behind the scenes is coach Tristan “Saethus” Savage completing our UK trio. With LeonGids, Deapek and Jigsaw all former teammates, we saw this as a solid foundation for our roster building plans. This bolstered with additional exciting talent scouted in the last few months has resulted in a driven and dynamic roster ready to take on the Europe League.
On joining Fnatic and looking to the future LeonGids had this to say, “We know the last year for us has not been the year you would expect us to show, of course we can throw excuses around for it but ultimately it was on us. We have no excuses for anything now, we have the right team, in the right environment, surrounded by the best org and people backing us. We’re on our redemption arc and we can’t wait to be a top contender again.”
The team is already showing great potential and the ability to have them practise at our London HQ allows for Fnatic as an organisation to offer more structured support to the team on and off the server.
“It's been a pleasure to meet and onboard these players to Fnatic in person. They're making full use of our London HQ Esports Performance Facility and we look forward to levelling them up with access to our industry leading performance infrastructure and player care offering. At Fnatic we take huge pride in helping our esports athletes grow as competitors, professionals and people.” - Stuart Brown, Head of Esports and Player Engagement

And it wouldn’t be a new season of R6 without new Operator team skins so watch this space. To all of those who supported us in APAC, we thank you for flying the black and orange over the years and we hope you’ll join us on the next chapter of Fnatic Rainbow Six Siege.
